Custom plugins
Custom plugin fingerprints allow users to modify or add browser plugin information, enabling or disabling specific plugins to alter the browser fingerprint. This feature enhances user privacy and security while browsing. By customizing plugin fingerprints, users can simulate different browser configurations, reducing the risk of being tracked or monitored online.
When adding custom plugins, the following details must be provided:
Plugin name
Description
File name
MIME type
MIME description
MIME extension
Default plugin fingerprints include:
PDF Viewer
Chrome PDF Viewer
Chromium PDF Viewer
Microsoft Edge PDF Viewer
WebKit built-in PDF
Please note that customizing plugins may affect the functionality of real plugins. For example, disabling certain plugins may cause real plugins to malfunction. Configure settings based on your needs or opt for the default configuration.
