Device name/ MAC address

Device information includes the device name and MAC address.
When custom device info is enabled, matching values will replace your real device name and MAC address.

When devidce info is closed, each browser uses the default device name and MAC address of the current computer

1. Device Name
In the SupLogin client, when creating a new browser, you can either manually enter a device name or select "Change" from the system to generate a new, unique device name.

2. MAC Address
A MAC address (Media Access Control Address) is a unique network identifier for each device, also known as the local area network (LAN) address, physical address, or hardware address.

It consists of six pairs of characters separated by colons. For example, 00:1B:44:11:3A:B7 is a MAC address.

MAC addresses are unique and embedded in the hardware of network devices (such as network cards, routers, etc.). They are used to identify devices within a local area network (LAN), ensuring that data is accurately sent to the target device.

Therefore, if you have multiple accounts or stores, it is essential to ensure that the MAC address for each account/store's login environment is unique. Otherwise, they may be linked together.

In the SupLogin client, you can manually enter a MAC address or choose to have the system generate a new one.1739252065282.png
