Do Not Track

Do Not Track (DNT) is an official HTTP header field that allows internet users to choose not to be tracked by websites. This includes the collection of user activity data across different contexts, as well as the retention, use, or sharing of data obtained from that activity outside of those contexts. It determines whether the browser allows websites to track personal information.

When this feature is enabled, the browser adds a header field in the HTTP data transfer: dnt: 1, which indicates to the website's server that the user does not wish to be tracked.1739252778563.png
